Thanks Mets. Nearly two decades of disappointment and this is going to be the icing on the cake. That is, the cake of shit which has been the Mets for most of the past two decades, with a few breaks for shits and giggles (late 90’s, last year).
Disgusting.
Also, I found out today the British Empire paid two guys to go to the cliffs of Dover until 1927 and make sure Napoleon wasn’t invading. That made me feel somewhat less like an idiot.
